FULL_ANALYSIS

TERMINAL://PROSPECT_ANALYSIS/SELDEN JR.

SYSTEM_ANALYSIS: STARTER_TIER PROSPECT

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Wayne Selden Jr. is a high-upside wing g with a modern perimeter profile. His combination of length, playmaking touch, and basketball IQ gives him a solid floor in the league while offering significant upside if his all-around game continues to develop.

OFFENSIVE EVALUATION: Selden Jr.'s calling card is his playmaking ability. He's a fluid scorer who can knock down tough shots from all levels. His mechanics are still developing, and he's comfortable operating from the perimeter or in transition. The issue is consistency; he has stretches where the shot doesn't fall and his impact wanes. His handle needs development, but he's intelligent enough to use his size to his advantage.

DEFENSIVE EVALUATION: Selden Jr.'s defensive profile is a work in progress. He struggles to consistently contest shots and can be outmuscled in the paint. His lateral quickness is average, which allows him to stay in front of guards and contest at the rim. His length is a major asset that could make him a switchable defender.

PROJECTION: Wayne Selden Jr. projects as a solid starter if his overall game continues to develop. His floor is a bench contributor who can space the floor and knock down open threes. His ceiling is a quality two-way contributorwho can be a key role player on a playoff team. The development of his handle and defensive skills will determine his long-term success.
