Ament Screams potential, his lanky frame and smooth jumper are intriguing, but his game lags behind. EXECUTIVE_SUMMARY: Ament's draft stock lies in his potential. His stats are not worthy of a first round pick, his efficiency is poor from all over the floor and his numbers don't stand out anywhere else. He would greatly benefit from another year in school OFFENSIVE_EVALUATION: Aesthetically, Ament's game looks good, a great handle and smooth stroke at 6'10, plus a frame that reminds viewers of KD. Unfortunately, the aesthetics doe not match the statistics. Ament's 3rd percentile rim finishing and 2p% should scare scouts out of drafting him. DEFENSIVE_EVALUATION: Ament's defensive profile is nothing special. While his combo of speed and size is intriguing, he lacks the strength and athleticism to be a complete defender. PROJECTION: I believe if he were to return to college, Ament could play himself into a top 5 spot next year. For this year however, I wouldn't expect any team who needs to hit on their picks to take him. Expect Ament mid to late first round as a project that a team is willing to roll the dice on.
