UC Irvine (UAB) Michigan v. Santa Clara (UAB) Michigan v. Saint Joseph's (UAB) Michigan v. East Carolina (UAB) Michigan v. North Texas (UAB) Michigan v. Arkansas State (UAB) Michigan v. Michigan St. (Michigan) Strengths - Lendeborg has elite size and length for a forward, and can even play small ball 5 if needed. - One of the most versatile prospects in the class. He played more of a center role at UAB, before transitioning into more of a wing role at Michigan and excelled at both. - Very functional handle for his size, being asked to run the offense at times for the most talented team in the country. - His combination of strength and mobility for his size make him an exceptional driver and finisher through contact. He converted an incredible 71% of his looks at the rime this season. - While his age is a knock on him overall, his experience really shows in his processing. - He's at his best in transition, being able to crash the boards for dunks and putbacks. - Displayed the ability to be either the picker or roller consistently which opens a ton of versatility in double big lineups. - Shot 37% from three on 171 attempts, shooting 51% in the last 10 games of the season. He's not elite in this aspect, but he's 100% a functional shooter at the NBA level. - He's like a brick wall on defense and wasn't easily moved off his spot whatsoever. - His lateral movement is very quick, allowing him to stick with bigger guards on defense pretty well. - Never takes a possession off on defense, 100% effort all time. - Averages 1.1 SPG and 1.2 BPG, which is impressive considering he played alongside Morez Johnson and Aday Mara. - He's a pest on defense, using his length really well to clog lanes and disrupt plays constantly. - At his best guarding forwards, but has legitimate moments where he guards centers on tape. - Has real shot blocking capabilities. - Effective defender in the paint and on the perimeter. - His passing feel is great, averaging 3.2 assists per game to just 1 turnover per game. It's very rare to see someone in his archetype have the level of passing he does. - His length and positioning make him an exceptional rebounder, averaging nearly 7 RPG with 1.8 OREB per game. While he averaged 11.4 RPG with UAB last season, it's important to note the level of talent around him at Michigan was much better. - He displays strong hands when pulling in rebounds, not easily getting the ball poked out. His passing also ties in here, as he's very quick to either run out in transition or pass the ball upcourt. - Shot 82% on free throws, averaging 4 FTA per game. WEAKNESSES: Weaknesses - He'll be 24 as a rookie. He can still improve his game, but teams likely won't be drafting him with long term development in mind. - Although he had a really nice finish from three during the end of the season, there's still some consistency that has to be found as a shooter. His FT% being high is typically a positive indicator though. - Shot 23% on guarded catch and shoot threes, and 43% on unguarded catch and shoot threes. You simply have to be able to make guarded threes in the NBA.
