OFFENSIVE_EVALUATION: Intriguing blend of skills / premier athleticism. Glimpses of rim pressure which if can be developed will be valuable pairing with his playmaking flashes. Can function as off ball finisher and add possession value, low TO and ORB value. 3PT shot will determine his ceiling, can function in RS without it but will ultimately need to space enough for playoffs. DEFENSIVE_EVALUATION: Defensive impact might be slightly overrated currently, can generate stocks and outstanding looking plays due to athleticism but is still raw in off ball / help scenarios so will need to grow on that , which he can but current day 1 defensive impact i think is slightly overrated. I think due to blend of size and tools, he has upside to be near or all defensive caliber talent, Im not necessarily saying he cant get there, but projecting offensive growth as usage goes up defensive intensity typically decreases ,ie Jalen Johnson will be interesting to see how he develops defensively. PROJECTION: Im projecting Caleb to be around Jalen Johnson type of playstyle, not necessarily projecting the stat output he had in 2026, but as in someone teams can give on ball reps to and hes a good playmaker, ability to slash and finish and be a transition threat while being versatile enough to defend multiple positions and be a plus rebounder.
