OFFENSIVE_EVALUATION: AJ is an elite shot creator as a wing, he can get to his spot with technique and footwork. He has multiple moves in his bag, and can draw fouls easily. Three point shot has shown flashes, it should improve as he gets stronger. His tunnel vision is good, but he’s sometimes careless with the ball. DEFENSIVE_EVALUATION: AJ has guarded multiple quality guards, chased around shooters, and has used his frame well against bigger scorers. While steal and block rates don’t jump off his stats, his good frame, athleticism, and size should make him a plus defender in the NBA for multiple years. PROJECTION: AJ’s game should immediately translate into the NBA. He’ll probably post high usage rates from the start. He could definitely peak as a 1st option on a contender, but some parts of his game need improvement. Even at the absolute worst case, he should still be an 18-20 point per game scorer who can guard multiple positions.
