hype and aura moments PHYSICALS: Official Measurements 6'2" Barefoot 185.8 lbs. 6'7" Wingspan 8'2.5" Standing Reach STRENGTHS: Games Watched Arkansas v. Georgia Arkansas v. LSU Arkansas v. Mississippi State Arkansas v. Auburn Arkansas v. Tennessee Arkansas v. Vanderbilt (3/15) Arkansas v. Hawaii (NCAA Tournament) Arkansas v. High Point (NCAA Tournament) Arkansas v. Arizona (NCAA Tournament) Strengths - He's a superstar level offensive talent. He can score at all three levels and has more than enough passing ability to be a true lead guard at the NBA level. - He scored 23.5 PPG on 48% from the field, which is even more impressive considering how diverse his shot diet was. 31% of his shots were at the rim, 34% in the midrange, and 35% from three. - Arguably the best three point shooter in the class, knocking down 44% of his threes on 6 attempts per game (49% on C&S threes, 60% on open threes, 40% on guarded threes, 46% on spot up's, and 37% in transition). - Elite at creating his own shot at all three levels. 75% of his rim shots, 80% of his midrange shots, and 40% of his threes were unassisted. While he's great in the P&R, he doesn't need screens to get himself open either. - His floater is one of his best weapons inside the arc. - He's a shorter guard prospect but he's built very sturdily which allows him to score through contact at the rim, and in a perfect world be a half decent on ball defender. - He's very quick off the dribble despite not being a stellar athlete, which allows him to manipulate pace exceptionally well. He was able to shoot 44% in isolation in large part to his off the dribble prowess. - He's not bothered by physicality when he's ball handling, maintaining his composure even when he faces doubles. - His playmaking ability is elite, averaging 6.4 assists per game to 2.1 turnovers (so essentially 3 assists per 1 turnover), and a 32.2% assist rate. - He's always looking to get the ball up the court in a hurry in transition, and is probably the best lob thrower in the class. - He never faltered in big moments, having some of his best games during the NCAA tournament. - Does a solid job of drawing fouls with 6 FTA per game, making them at an 81% rate. WEAKNESSES: Weaknesses - His defense is not good from the eye test or a statistical standpoint. - His lack of size is one of the biggest contributing factors to his poor defense. - Awful screen navigator. - His lack of defensive potential will really limit his ceiling as a player. - Selecting him inherently means teams will have to build their defense to mask his shortcomings when he's on the floor. - Overall lack of verticality in his game. - A lot of his poor defense stems from inconsistent effort, maybe there's a world where he's a slightly below average defender if he tries harder on that end. - His shorter stature makes him have to jump on some of his passes to see over defenders. Not a big concern, but also not ideal.
