A giant wing/forward with that checks a ton of boxes. Shoots the ball well, can create a bit on the bounce, ++ passer, and a really good rebounder. Defensively was solid playing well guarding on the perimeter and solid on the interior. A really well rounded player, and at that size it's a real sell. However he is going to be 24 when the season starts. There isn't always a guarantee that the production translates. Can he overcome that? OFFENSIVE_EVALUATION: Versatile, thrives in transition with the ball in his hands decent handle, fast and quite explosive. Has passing ability in transition while attacking, also starts breaks with impressive deep outlet passes. In the half court, shot the ball pretty well serving the role of a floor spacer. But also attacked closeouts and made good passes exploiting the advantage. As a scorer in these situations it was more of a mixed bag, some of the attempts at the rim were a bit wild but others ended with and 1s and made baskets. Also shouldered some ball handling responsibility, running pick and roll with bigs and scoring and assisting there. Provided value as an offensive rebounder crashing from the perimeter and was a problem when around the basket where his wingspan helps out a ton. Punished mismatches in the post with guards too. This stuff reaches back to his time at UAB as well, Lendeborg has a ton of positive traits on this side of the ball. Can be a bit of a streaky shooter from three, not a ton of mid range production either. DEFENSIVE_EVALUATION: Impressed with his ability at times to guard on the perimeter at times. Able to use his length and active hands to pressure ball handlers and can block jumpers and shots at the rim. Now the screen navigation on the ball was lackluster at times and sometimes he's straight up gotten beat off the bounce. Don't think he'd be a POA defender, but someone who could be good at it in a pinch or if you're running a rotating coverage scheme. Good roamer, causing havoc off the ball doubling and crowding passing lanes, jumping passing lanes to get steals, swiping the ball away from unknowing attackers in the lane, blocking jumpers, etc. Some of the defensive numbers could be heightened because of what Lendeborg was surrounded by defensively, but I think what he's shown will have him in a good spot defensively in the league.
