swat swat swat sahur EXECUTIVE_SUMMARY: on a team as big-heavy as michigan, mara stood out to me for his defensive acumen. wracking up 2.6 blocks a night on a team with morez johnson and yaxel lendeborg is a little crazy. of course, a 7'6 wingspan and relatively good athletics for that size does help, but he had to fight for those numbers. offensively mara is sparing and effective, a rim% of 81 is pretty much all he needs. he's 7'3 man he doesn't need a 3 point shot. an overall 2pt % of 68, which takes into account some real bullshit, keeps him looking fine. i'm very, very concerned about his fitness, however. at 7'3, 260, it's absurdly hard to keep yourself proper. at times he looked straight up lethargic in the second half. his conditioning needs major work. but aside from that, this kid's alright.
