Offensively tilted forward that has great hands and real skill offensively inside of the arc. Defense is a bit less than ideal right now, as well as his three-point jumper. As a F/C rather than just a straight up center, there are questions as to how his game cleanly translates to the NBA. OFFENSIVE_EVALUATION: Incredible hands - catches almost everything thrown his way, this shines on postups, rolls, and in transition. Hands also show up in rebounding ability, a MONSTER on the offensive glass - 95th %tile OREB% (14.3%). Not going to wow you with explosion, but has some quickness and fluidity to beat defense and score. He will also surprise you with dunks or dunking on somebody. Nice touch around the rim - 66.3% 2P_TS%, 70.6% RIM%. Shot 34% from three-point line, on 2.9 Att/game, does shoot 74% FT% and gives you a bit of hope of being an average to above average shooter within time. DEFENSIVE_EVALUATION: Defense is less than ideal. 1.9 DBPM (33rd %tile), -0.1 DBPM+ (37th %tile), 3.9 BLK% (35th %tile) Not entirely a lost cause when looking at Steinbach defend, but he's not a shot blocker, not a great defender in space either, so he's kind of in the wind as a defender but with his athletic ability I don't expect Steinbach to be a horrid defender.
