Cam Boozer’s time at duke showcased his versatility on the court with flashes of passing and shooting ability at Duke. EXECUTIVE_SUMMARY: I think boozer can be a great player in the NBA and I believe that he will end up as one of the best picks of the draft, but I expect him to shine the most as a 2nd or 3rd option on a winning team especially with his current skillset. OFFENSIVE_EVALUATION: I think Boozer is a decent player offense wise especially if his shot comes around at the next level (I predict it will) but there are still holes and vulnerabilities in his game due to his slow movements and overall lack of athleticism, this could cause big problems as he takes the leap to the next level as his limited offensive bag can be heavily exploited. On the bright side, Cam has showed that he could be a very consistent scorer during his tenure at Duke. DEFENSIVE_EVALUATION: As a 6’9 200+ pound forward, Boozer really disappoints on the defensive end. His slow feet means that Cam could be constantly targeted by opposing teams and his vertical leap doesn’t help him either, he is still a great rebounder though and I think that will translate to the next level. PROJECTION: I think that Cam Boozer will still end up a great player in the league and he could be a great contributor on a Championship contender in the future.
