Shot creator and sniper with good size as a primary ball-handler EXECUTIVE_SUMMARY: Has good size for a point guard, unsure whether he will actually play the point in the NBA or not. Gained a ton of confidence as the season progressed; looked like a COMPLETELY different player from the Alabama game to the Purdue game. However, he is very streaky. The Purdue game was some of the best game film I’ve ever watched, but he also has a lot of inefficient games. When he doesn’t shoot well, he doesn’t really impact the game positively overall. Not a very good athlete, especially compared to guards. OFFENSIVE_EVALUATION: Elite shot creating ability, and a great 3 point shooter both off the dribble and off the catch. Usage rate increased over the course of the year but wasn't necessarily an extremely high usage player, but still created shots for his teammates and showed a lot of great playmaking flashes. Pretty much non existent mid range game. Don’t think he’ll reach his ceiling unless he develops a mid range. Struggled with physicality often as seen in the MSU, UConn and Wisconsin games. DEFENSIVE_EVALUATION: Has flashes defensively and his advanced stats are pretty solid. However, he also had a lot of bad flashes defensively and I felt the defense looked worse on film than the stats say. Skinny frame mixed with an average wingspan and athleticism scare me at the NBA level. Pretty inconsistent defensively and doesn't get stocks at a high level.
