// STRENGTHS

- Jefferson is one of the most well rounded forwards in the class. He has size, passing, defense, and enough scoring versatility to fit into most NBA offenses. - His best skill is his passing for his size. Jefferson is a real point forward type player, and the jump he made as a senior was pretty massive. He averaged 4.8 APG, a ridiculous 27.7 AST%, and 1.9 AST/TO ratio. Even if he only played 20 games, that's elite playmaking production. - He’s an extremely quick processor. He doesn’t need to over dribble to create advantages, and he can consistently read cutters, shooters, help defenders, and short roll situations. - Jefferson is very strong in the post, being able to create space for himself but also create good looks for his teammates when he draws attention. - His physicality in the paint helped him get 6 FTA per game, where he shot 70% at the line. - While he wasn't much of a shooting threat in his first two seasons, Jefferson became a half decent shooter this season, making 34.5% of his shots on 3.1 3PA per game. It is worth noting that 92% of these threes were assisted however, so he remains as more of a stationary shooter than anything. - While he isn't explosive per say, he is a people mover when attacking downhill. He can finish with either hand, score through contact, and make shots from tough angles. - Jefferson has phenomenal touch around the rim. - He's a very smart and opportunistic cutter, making 70% of his shots off of cuts this season. - Jefferson is great at both scoring and being a connective passer in transition, knowing how to break to the rim or hit his teammates for easy looks. - His strength and active hands make him an already above average defender with the potential to become even better with more development. He averaged 1.6 SPG this season with an elite 3.1 STL%, being really impactful all around on the defensive end. - Jefferson is strong on the glass, grabbing 7.4 RPG (5.5 DREB, 1.9 OREB) with a great 21.8 DREB%. - He's very active as an off ball defender, jumping into passing lanes and knowing when to give help without sacrificing his assignment. - Jefferson is essentially a jack of all trades, being someone that can be selected at the backend of the first round and immediately contribute with his skillset.

// WEAKNESSES

- The swing skill with Jefferson is his three point shot continuing its linear development. While 34% this season is workable, he's only a 29% three point shooter in his career. - While players who can catch and shoot are valuable, that may be all his jumper is relegated to even if his three point shot develops more. His handle is decent, but I don't foresee him becoming someone who can self create on the perimeter. - Jefferson won't ever wow you as an athlete, and his lack of quickness guarding on the perimeter can give him a lot of trouble against guard at times. - He can look slow to get to his spots against more athletic defenders, but at least he has his passing ability to fall back on here. - Jefferson turned over the ball 2.5 times per game, not horrible but he could easily lower it by forcing less passes and not being as zealous when trying to playmake. - He'll occasionally get some blocks purely off of his effort, but he isn't a real rim deterrence. - He'll be 22 on draft night.
