ZUBY EJIOFOR

ZUBY EJIOFOR
Paint beast with lots of upside. Brings a style of play that is rare to find nowadays. Has the tools to be a big contributor.
Has the same monstrous assets, if given that kind of role, he will take full advantage
Has the same type of physicality, and is a little bit bigger, but in the same undersized big man category.
Rotational piece, but doesn't contribute as much as you'd like. Still gets minutes on a daily basis.
// EXECUTIVE_SUMMARY
Team player and captain prototype in the huddle and locker room. Never gives up on a play, and is full throttle under the game ends. While undersized, he brings a physicatily that is rarely seen in the NBA today, and is a throwback archetype.
Percentiles are positional, measured against NBA players' last season in college.
// OFFENSIVE_EVALUATION
Strong in the paint, especially on the offensive glass. Does not give up until nothing can be done. Occasionally hits a three when given enough space. Free throws are inconsistent along with midrange, but scores big.
// DEFENSIVE_EVALUATION
Nothing gets by him. Easily gets multi-block games no matter the opponent. Able to switch his man easily thanks to the Pitino system. Foul prone at times, especially when careless. Undersized for todays game, but he makes all his positive assets count.
// PROJECTION
Has an all star ceiling in the right situation, give him the right tools and system and he will flourish. Hard worker and will give his all to the team he is on. However, if his size does not translate well he will likely fall to a rotation piece. He is likely to be in the league no matter what, but it is a matter of how much his mentality and positives can over power the size in the NBA.
// AWARDS
Collected awards like a hobby. In 2025-2026 alone, he racked up Big East Player of the Year, Big East Defensive Player of the Year, Big East Scholar Athlete of the year, and in the conference tournament he was named MOP. When it comes to national recognition, he was named the center of the year and is a finalist for DPOY.
