AJ DYBANTSA

AJ is an uber athletic forward coming out of BYU university. He has a good finishing package and has quite the quick first step for a man his stature. Projected Ceiling: MVP contender Median: All-NBA Player Floor: Quality Starter

CEILING
LeBron James

AJ at his peak could be a similar player to young Lebron James, A big strong forward with elite athleticism and a great driver to the rim. (MVP Ceiling)

MEDIAN
MUCH BETTER
Andrew Wiggins

In most scenarios, I think AJ could end up a much stronger, more athletic, andrew wiggins while also being a much better offensive player. (All NBA Median)

FLOOR
Andrew Wiggins

If things don’t go his way, AJ could end up being an Andrew Wiggins type player, a highlight reel with strong highs and low lows with the ability to make an all star team with the right system. (All star/great Starter Floor)

// EXECUTIVE_SUMMARY

Overall, AJ is a once in a generation prospect with a rare combination of skill, size, and athleticism that most teams would want. He also has great composure under pressure which separates stars from superstars. This, combined with one of the highest projected ceilings in the draft, he makes one of the most sought after prospects we’ve seen in years.

STRENGTHS_WEAKNESSES

// OFFENSIVE_EVALUATION

To make it straight to the point, AJ Dybantsa is a phenomenal finisher at the rim and with the combination of his skill, athleticism, and size, he has the ability to blow by defenders on the court, he also has the ability to draw fouls at the next level with his skillset although his shooting ability leaves a lot to be desired for a top pick in the modern era.

// DEFENSIVE_EVALUATION

On the defensive end, AJ showed that he could hold his own especially with his wingspan and his athleticism. I believe that AJ can develop into a multi-positional defender in the NBA but as of current, he isn’t there yet.
